You're not alone! We're writers. Talking about our work is an entirely different skill set to hone. One that only gets easier with practice. So, let's practice!

Join author and pitch doctor Fitz Cyr for a hands-on workshop focused on honing a successful pitch. We'll begin with introductions before diving into pitching best practices - how long should it be, how much should you tell, and how do you hook your target audience? Throughout this workshop, there will be timed "checkpoints" for fine-tuning your pitch on paper. We'll also discuss ways of managing nerves or anxiety around presenting your work, whether it's to strangers or friends.

While you'll be encouraged to share your pitch aloud within the group for feedback, participation is not mandatory! Pitching can be super personal, so no pressure at all if you're too nervous to share!
