Quinn Walker is a Portland based trumpet player, composer and music educator. His quartet featuring some of his closest musical partners David Barber on guitar/vox, Xylyn Hathaway on Bass and Max Tucker on Drums. Inspired by the lineage of jazz greats and the modern era fusion of hip hop, Latin music, sample based music and avant garde with improvised music; Walkers music displays his affinity for the wide variety of styles. The music will feature favorite jazz standards, band members compositions and Walkers compositions; including music from his upcoming debut album “The Trail” coming out on PJCE records in July of this year.
