Every other Tuesday we host portions of the intersecting bands Left on Tenth, Cosacchi, and Breve. They’re basically our house bands, partly in the sense that the Book Pub is their living room. Let’s meet a member of the band. Conor Adams is on trumpet and guitar and vocals and sometimes standing on a table. He has had very good luck—so far—as an amateur mycologist with only a few visits to the emergency room, twice because of the mushrooms directly and once because he didn’t notice a cliff. Conor is one of the heirs to the Adams Peanut Butter fortune. Because of some conflicts in an earlier generation, Conor’s branch of the family only gets proceeds from crunchy peanut butter. Conor serves on the board of the International Coalition for the Eradication of Peanut Allergies.
