Multi-instrumentalist musicians, composers, and performers Ayelen Secches (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Eddie Bond (Portland, OR, USA) met while studying together at the Banff International Workshop for Jazz and Creative Music at the Banff Art Centre in Alberta, Canada in August 2019.
Their collaborative music project blends elements of contemporary creative music, rock, European classical music, folk, and improvisation.
Winner of the Young Arts Biennial Buenos Aires in 2013, Secches has performed extensively inside Argentina as well as in Brazil with Caetano Veloso and in Chile, England, and Canada. She has released six albums of her own and has a 7th planned for release in 2020.
Named the Outstanding Undergraduate in Jazz upon graduating from the University of Oregon in 2013, Bond has performed extensively inside the US, and in Canada, China, and Argentina. He has released 3 albums in the last 18 months and has received composition commissions from Portland Jazz Composer’s Ensemble and Yves St. Laurent.
