Our Story

Rose City Book Pub sits in a shaded, brick building on NE Fremont St. with nooks for reading, a bar and tables for gathering, and a curated collection of good books, good drinks, and good food. Our menu is cafe and bistro style with hearty, whole ingredients and bold flavors. Our tap list rotates with an emphasis on NW beers, and our cocktails are made exclusively from local spirits. We have a limited but carefully selected rotating wine list. We host all kinds of events: readings and live music, book clubs, fundraisers, and stuff for kids, We aim to build a community, and become a hub of sharing, discussion, and good times.
