Rose City Book Pub brings together everything we enjoy: books, beer, and wine, of course, but also community events, music, art, and good discussions. The Book Pub is a place for people to gather. It is also a place for people to retreat to a corner to work or read alone while they enjoy our carefully curated selection of beer and wine.

We’ve been collecting books for the past forty years, and have a large selection of literature, books by local authors, non-fiction, and children’s books. Like any used book store, our inventory is always changing.
We invite you to take some time to explore books you might want to purchase. Get a beer or a glass of wine, browse the shelves, sit for a while with some books that interest you.
Events
Contact us to reserve space for book clubs or other meetings. There is no reservation fee, but there is a food and drink minimum of $10 per person per hour. You can split the bill or arrange catering for your meeting.
The back patio is available for private parties in good weather. The whole bar is available for private parties on a very limited basis.
Our Story
Rose City Book Pub sits in a shaded, brick building on NE Fremont St. with nooks for reading, a bar and tables for gathering, and a curated collection of good books, good drinks, and good food. Our menu is cafe and bistro style with hearty, whole ingredients and bold flavors. Our tap list rotates with an emphasis on NW beers, and our cocktails are made exclusively from local spirits. We have a limited but carefully selected rotating wine list. We host all kinds of events: readings and live music, book clubs, fundraisers, and stuff for kids, We aim to build a community, and become a hub of sharing, discussion, and good times.
